Joanne Hernon – CEO / Founder
Joanne provides sales consulting and business development services. She has assembled a team of consultants and professionals who value delivering clear, actionable plans with an equally clear track record of taking our clients' businesses to the next level. She has created a systematic approach to create small teams that work with a collaborative style with client executives.
Her business experience includes small business consulting services, technical training, marketing and accounting. Her sales experience includes marketing to Fortune 500 accounts such as Kraft Foods, Motorola and government accounts such as Johnson Space Center and FEMA, just to name a few. She has managed government contracts with the Department of Energy, Microsoft GSA Contract, CMAS purchase contracts with the State of California and technology contracts with the City and County of San Francisco. Ms. Hernon has also developed channel sales programs with VAR’s, resellers and through distribution with Ingram Micro and Tech Data. She has managed sales teams and created call centers.
Joanne has a unique approach to selling which involves selling from the customer’s point of view or Customer-Centric selling. Utilizing this approach in her corporate selling career took her to the top of her team. Now she helps sales professionals do the same in her training programs. She also has professional sales training from Dale Carnegie Sales Advantage where she was invited back as a trainer.
Ms. Hernon is a lifetime member of CEO Space and is the Vice President of the board for Marin Association for Female Executives.
James Salter – Senior Consultant
James brings broad experience and keen insights in the areas of marketing and sales management, marketing communications and customer loyalty research to his work with clients. His engagements have covered a wide range of industries and Fortune 500 companies in both B2B and B2C markets.
His Marketing and Sales Management experience includes development of strategic planning initiatives and tactical marketing support, including marketing plans, sales plans, value proposition development, training materials, position papers, and web-based initiatives.
With his expertise in marketing communications, he works in both business and consumer markets, with a wide range of output from case histories to collateral, newsletters, annual reports, business reports and white papers.
His extensive work in both domestic and international marketing research and consulting rounds out his value to all businesses he works with. Projects involved multivariate analysis and modeling of web and telephone data to provide improved decision support for marketing and business management. He is heavily involved in engagements to identify, measure and deploy drivers of customer loyalty and retention and then link them to process improvements and financial outcomes.
Tina Lanzavecchia – Account Manager
Tina provides customer support and all administrative duties for our clients. If you need something done, Tina is the person to go to get it done right. She has worked with companies in many industries giving her a wide range of expertise and problem solving skills. She has managed busy offices in all areas from the front desk, to accounting, to client management services. She is reliable; detail oriented, organized and works well multitasking. Mrs. Lanzavecchia has managed customer support staff and can resolve issues in a timely manner.
Tina has also, managed a small team of customer service representatives for a high volume of incoming sales calls. Her team was able to provide appointment setting for several Sales Associates, ensuring detailed, complete and accurate information. Any thing needed to support the sales staff. Implemented a follow up program for the future clients to ensure they received a good experience.
Her project management experience includes managing the set up of the field office for one of the construction companies for the new San Francisco International Airport Terminal. This included all contract agreements for the subcontractors. Processing the necessary paper work, pre-liens, certified payroll, general liability insurance certificates with additionally insured information and workman’s compensation forms. She has worked with the San Francisco International Airport Security Officials to ensure proper access and safety training for a secure job site. Arranged and oversaw all meetings between Airport Project Managers and General Contractors.
